Murchison falls national park is one off the Uganda’ largest and most popular national parks, located in the northwestern part of the country. The park is named after the spectacular Murchison falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge and drops with a powerful roar into the Devil’s Cauldron, creating an inspiring sights/ views to tourists.

LOCATION
Murchison falls National Park is located on northern Uganda, north- west of kampala city of Uganda. The park spreads in districts off Masindi, Nwoy, kinryanndogo and Buyisa. It spans in land forms of Rift valley escarpment and Bunyoro escarpment around karuma falls wildlife reserves letting to Murchison falls national park. Its easy and decides to travel by bus from Kampala with in 5hours or by air from kajjansi to chobe airstrip which makes it cheaper means if transport.

The main attraction at Murchison falls national park, is the river Nile falls into gorge of 45meters with 7meteers wide of the park, the falls later falls 45 meters high to form a big splashing fog creating the magnificent Murchison falls national park. Game Drive; The park is a home of wide range off wildlife, including the big five ( lions, leopard, elephant, buffaloes and Rhino) although rhinos are found at Ziwa Sanctuary nearby. Other notable animals, include hippos, crocodiles and numerous antelopes.
