A 5 days Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari is a safari that that aims at exposing you to the wildlife and primates in the National Parks of Uganda where you will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking with stopovers at Kayabwe at the equator monument and the Mpambire drum makers for a cultural experience and then head to Queen Elizabeth national park for a morning game drive, an afternoon boat cruise and a chimpanzee trek. You will then depart for Entebbe Airport.

Detailed itinerary for the 5 days Uganda gorillas and wildlife safari
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 1, you will be picked up by our company guide from Entebbe Airport, and then you will start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a stopover at Kayabwe at the equator monument for pictures and souvenirs. You will also head to Mpambire drum makers for a cultural experience. After you will proceed with another stopover at Igongo cultural centre for lunch.
After lunch, you will head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will have dinner and your night’s rest at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
On day 2, you will have breakfast at the lodge, and once you are done, you will be given a packed lunch from the lodge. The guide will then transfer you from the lodge to the park headquarters. You will be briefed at the park headquarters, and then you will start the gorilla trek with the company of an armed ranger guide. You will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours searching for the gorillas.
You will have numerous encounters with wildlife species, and once you spot the gorillas, you are allowed to spend only one hour with them. You will then observe their movements, how they play, feed and much more. You will take pictures of them and then you return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and your night’s stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 3, you will have breakfast at the lodge, and then the guide will pick you up from the lodge after checking out. You will then start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have ab enroute lunch and you will then proceed to the park where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise
On day 4, you will have breakfast and then, after a briefing at the park headquarters, you will go for a morning game drive. The morning game drive will take place in the Kasenyi plains, where you will spot animals like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and many more. You will also spot several birds. This game drive will take approximately 4 hours. You will then go back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will leave the lodge and go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. You will spend about 2 to 3 hours while on the boat cruise, and you will spot animals like crocodiles, hippos and many more. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Entebbe Airport
On day 5, you will have breakfast, and then the guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then go for a chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge that will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours. You will have the opportunity to spend one hour with the chimpanzees, and then you will get back to the lodge for lunch and after you will check out.
The guide will transfer you back to Entebbe airport to catch your flight, marking the end of the safari.
