Detailed Itinerary For The 1 Day Kibale National Park Safari
On the day 1 Kibale National Park Safari, you will be met by our company representative guide at any location of your choice in Fort Portal town. The guide will drive you to Kibale National Park. You will arrive at the Kanyachu visitors centre, where you will first be briefed. You will be briefed about the chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, and you will receive the guidelines to follow while chimpanzee trekking, and also learn how you are supposed to behave. You will then set off with an armed ranger guide to search for the chimpanzees. You will come across several primates when you are searching for the chimpanzees, and some of these primates include Grey-cheeked mangabey, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, olive baboons and many more.
You will spot several birds like the African great parrot, great blue turaco, among others. You will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours to spot the Uganda chimpanzees. You will spend only one hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them. You will make observations about their feeding, playing and many more. You will take pictures of the chimpanzees before you head back to the park headquarters. You will be transferred back to Fort Portal town after the Uganda chimpanzee trekking. You will be dropped off at a lodge.
