Detailed Itinerary For The 3 Days Murchison Falls
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
You will be picked up from a hotel in Kampala after breakfast, and the guide will brief you about the safari before setting off. You will head to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch off at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will engage in rhino tracking, where you will be able to see the rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
After rhino tracking, you will continue to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at a hotel in Masindi town for lunch. After having lunch, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, and upon arrival, you will check into a lodge and relax. You will be served dinner, and you retire to bed.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
You will have breakfast, and after that, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will go for a morning game drive in the open savannahs. You will spot wild animals like elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs and many more. You will spend about 3 to 4 hours on the morning game drive, and then you will be returned to the lodge. You will relax and afterwards be served lunch. After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise.
The boat cruise will take place at the bottom of the falls, and you will spend about 2 hours there while on the boat cruise. You will spot animals like crocodiles, hippos, and bird species, among others. After watching the aquatic life at the bottom of the falls boat cruise, you will head back to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge and then retire to bed.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and departure to Kampala
You will have breakfast at the lodge in the morning. The guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, and after that, you will head to Budongo Forest, where you will conduct the chimpanzee trek. You will search for the chimpanzees in Budongo Forest, and depending on their location, you will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours to spot them. After spotting the chimpanzees, you will spend one hour with them. After observing how they behave and take pictures, you will head back to the lodge.
You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out of the lodge. After checking out, you will head back to Kampala. You will arrive at a hotel where you will spend the night.
