This Tanzanian safari takes you to Gombe National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1: Pick up from Kigoma Airport
You shall be picked up from Kigoma Airport, from where you shall head to the lodge, check in and relax as you await dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking, Flight to Dar
Today, you get to enjoy your day with the chimpanzees. You shall start your trip at sunrise by boarding a dhow boat from the hotel’s private beach for a transfer to Gombe National Park. Meet your guide as you cruise along the shores of Lake Tanganyika to the main entrance of Gombe Stream National Park.
After interacting with the chimpanzees and lunch, you shall transfer back to the mainland for a departure flight to Dar es Salaam.
Day 3: Flight to Serengeti National Park
You shall wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. And then proceed to the airport for a flight to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is one of the most sought-after Tanzanian parks, renowned for the abundant wildlife, including the African Big Five.
Serengeti National Park is also famous for hosting the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the natural wonders of the world. You shall check in at your lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti National Park.
During your morning game drive, you will search for different wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, hyenas, kudu, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks and many others. You will have your lunch before another game-driving experience in the national park in the afternoon.
Your guide will drive you around the national park in the central part of Serengeti National Park as you look out for different attractions and wildlife species in the distant plains. You will return to your lodge after this experience for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater, Crater Drive
You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti National Park and driving to your next wildlife viewing destination, which is the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend 600 metres into the crater, which is home to numerous wildlife species like the Big Five, which includes lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos and elephants.
Other wildlife species to spot in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, and warthogs, among others.
There are also different bird species for a birdwatching experience, which can be spotted around the Ngorongoro Crater, like ostriches, as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi.
After your game drive around the Ngorongoro Crater, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, you shall leave for Arusha town, and depending on your flight schedule, you shall have a cultural tour or be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight, bringing your safari to an end.
