Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pickup and Drive to Ol Pajeta

Upon arrival in Kenya, our driver guide will pick you up from your desired location, brief you about the safari and then transfer you to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is located along the Mount Kenya and Aberdare mountain ranges.

Enjoy amazing views of the countryside and the landscapes of Kenya, with a lunch stop en route. Arrive in the late evening hours at the lodge.

Check in and relax at the lodge. Dinner and an overnight stay at the Sweet Waters Lake Serena Hotel.

Day 2: Game Drive in Ol Pajeta

Old Pajeta is a private ranch which is home to the endangered rhinos, as well as elephants, buffalo, and others.

After breakfast at the lodge, head out for a game drive for a chance to spot these animals, among others.

Return to the lodge, have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Samburu National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, proceed to the Samburu game reserve in the northern part of Kenya. Lunch will be enjoyed en route, and upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy an evening game drive.

During the game drive, you will spot plenty of wildlife species, including beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, dik-dik, Grevy’s zebra, long-necked gerenuk, elephants and many more.

You will then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge.

Day 4: Full day in Samburu National Reserve

Full-day excursion in Samburu National Game Reserve: Arise and shine in this stunning reserve in the northern part of Kenya.

You will have breakfast served at your lodge, after which you will meet your Kenya safari driver/guide for a full-day game drive in this beautiful reserve, spotting plenty of wildlife, including the Big 5 game, except for the rhinos.

Amongst the animals to look out for in Samburu Reserve are oryx, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, gerenuk, leopards and many more. After spending an entire day over here, you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, Game Drive

Have your breakfast at the lodge and, thereafter, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, check in for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive to watch plenty of wildlife such as rhinos, buffalo, and many other animals except elephants.

You will also watch abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Ziwa Bush Lodge.

Day 6: Explore Hell’s Gate National Park

Enjoy your breakfast, after which you will spend a full day exploring Hells Gate National Park as you sight abundant birdlife and several amazing adventures, like bicycle riding and photographic opportunities. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge as above.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha Visit

Enjoy breakfast at the resort and thereafter proceed to transfer to Lake Naivasha, where you will enjoy a boat ride to explore Crescent Island with an opportunity to spot lots of aquatic wildlife. Lunch will be enjoyed at the lodge. Relax the rest of the day at the lodge at Sweet Waters Resort.

Day 8: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Maasai Mara via Narok town, one of the best cultural towns in Kenya, arriving at the reserve at lunchtime. Upon your arrival, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and go for an afternoon game drive.

On the game drive through the plains of the reserve, you will enjoy views of many animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes and many more.

In the evening, you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at Sekenani Camp, Maasai Mara.

Day 9: Full day game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve, 1 Hot air Balloon Experience

You have 2 full days to explore the plains of the Mara. After morning breakfast at your lodge, you will head to Maasai Mara National Reserve for a full day of game drives. While in the Maasai plains, you will go on a game drive on routes running through the savannah plains of the reserve for sights of animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, antelopes, wildebeest, zebras and many more.

At lunch, you will either drive back to your lodge for lunch or have a picnic lunch set at any of the picnic sites in the reserve while enjoying the beautiful nature.

In the afternoon, you will go for another game drive, visiting the other parts of the reserve you did not visit on the morning game drive. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge as above.

A hot air balloon ride in the Maasai Mara gives you a bird’s-eye view of the park and an early sunrise over the horizon. The hot air balloon is climaxed with a bush breakfast in the park.

Day 10: Departure

Wake up to a hearty breakfast, meet your driver guide and exit the lodge. Drive back to Nairobi and be dropped off at your desired or agreed location.
