2 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Tour
This is a 2 days tour to Kibale National Park, which is home to several primates. This park is referred to as the primate capital because of the number of primates it shelters. Kibale National Park shelters about 13 primate species.
The 2 days tour on a Uganda safari will enable you to spot several primates while at the Bigodi swamp walk and also conduct a chimpanzee trek in Kibale forest, where you will meet the chimpanzees. You will also be able to visit Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves on the first day of this tour. The caves will be visited before reaching Kibale National Park.

Trip Description
Day 1: Transfer from a hotel in Kampala to Kibale National Park.
On day 1 of the 2 days Kibale Chimpanzee trekking tour, you will meet and greet with our company representative guide at a hotel in Kampala. The guide will brief you about the 2 days Kibale Chimpanzee trekking tour, and then you will start the drive to Kibale National Park.
You will have a stopover at Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves, and you will explore these historical caves. The guide will then take you for lunch at a hotel in Fort Portal town. You will then proceed to Kibale National Park, and you will check into a lodge. You will then be taken for a Bigodi swamp walk. This will last for about 2 hours and you will be able to spot several birds, primates and vegetation covers. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and departure to Kampala
On day 2 of the 2 days Kibale Chimpanzee trekking tour, you will have breakfast early in the morning, and you will be transferred from the lodge and taken for a briefing. After a briefing about Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest, you will be given a guide to accompany you. You will then start the chimpanzee trek.
You will take approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours to spot the chimpanzees in the forest. You will come across a variety of birds and primate species. You will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them. You will monitor how they behave and then take pictures of them. You will be returned to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and start the drive back to Kampala. The guide will drop you at a hotel in Kampala, marking the end of the tour.
