8 Days Tanzania Safari | Tanzania Wildlife Safaris.

An 8 days Tanzania safari is a classic safari experience that takes you to the Northern Tanzania route that joins Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater in a single safari. The Tanzania tour offers you more time on game drives that offer you different experiences in different parks that give you unforgettable safari memories for your entire life. Throughout the trip, you will travel in a private 4×4 with a guide who stays with you from the start to the end.
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha.
Once you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your safari guide from our company will welcome you and then brief you about this Tanzania safari and start your journey to Arusha, which takes you one hour. Upon arrival at your booked hotel, check in, relax, and then have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and then start on your journey to Tarangire National Park, which takes you approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at the park, you will be welcomed by the cool atmosphere and impressive landscape and the baobab trees. Transfer to your lodge, check in, and enjoy lunch.
After lunch, you will enjoy the spectacular wildlife, and during the main dry months, various wildlife gather in massive numbers along the Tarangire River. You will watch large elephant families and mixed herds of zebra and wildebeest create busy scenes as lions and other predators work the edges. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley.
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes you about 30 minutes, and you arrive with good time for a full day in the park. Once you enter the park, you will have an incredible game viewing experience. The park is known for its rich birdlife and possibility of seeing lions resting on the large branches, although their sightings depend on the conditions and a little luck. And optionally, you can go for the cultural experiences; you will visit the Mto wa Mbu village nearby for a short tour of farms and markets.
In the afternoon, proceed up to the Rift Valley escarpment to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Karatu to Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, check out and leave Karatu, going through the Ngorongoro highlands before descending toward the open plains. The road passes Maasai bomas and wide views before reaching Naabi Hills, the main entrance to Serengeti National Park. While your guide completes the park formalities, you can walk the short viewpoint trail for a first look at the plains that stretch into the distance.
Upon arrival in the park, start your game drive toward the central area. Along the way, you pass granite kopjes that often shelter lions and other species that like rocky ground. Arrive at your lodge by late afternoon when you are ready for the next day of wildlife viewing.
Day 5-6: Full day in central Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, go for a full day in the park. The park is mixed with river lines, open plains, and kopjes. This is where various lions, leopards, and cheetahs are throughout the year. You can head out early to catch first light on the grass and then look for the predators returning from the night hunts.
Later in the day, you may choose to stay out with a picnic lunch or return to the lodge and head out again in the afternoon. During this period, you will watch more wildlife that you missed during the morning game drive, like antelopes, elephants, and many others. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Olduvai and Ngorongoro Highlands.
After a final morning drive and breakfast in the Serengeti, you begin the journey back toward the highlands. On the way, you visit the Olduvai area, which is called the cradle of humankind. Here you can see a small but important museum that explains the work of the Leakey family and the early human and animal fossils found in the gorge.
Later in the day, the road climbs to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. On a clear afternoon, the lodge at the rim offers a wide view into the caldera and across to the far wall. This is a good place to slow the pace, enjoy the cooler air of the highlands, and prepare for the clearly created descent the next morning. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater ahead; the floor of the crater holds a very high concentration of wildlife in a compact area, which means that the game viewing often begins as soon as you reach the grass. There is a good chance to see all the members of the big five mammals (buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, leopards and lions).
Once you enjoy the picnic lunch, your safari guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international departure, which brings your 8 days Tanzania safari to an end.
