3 Days Nyungwe Chimp Trekking Tour.
This is a 3 days Nyungwe chimp trekking safari to Nyungwe National Park, where you will have a chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe forest and a canopy walk at the suspended bridge. You will also have a nature walk on the third day, and you will depart for Kigali Airport. This Rwanda tour will include a city tour in Kigali to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Rwanda Art Museum.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
When you arrive at Kigali Airport, you will be met and greeted by a professional company representative from Chopper Tour and Travel. You will go through the safari details, and then you will go for a city tour in Kigali. You will begin with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. You will be exposed to what took place during the 1994 Rwanda genocide while at the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
You will leave the Kigali Genocide Memorial and head to the Rwanda Art Museum. You will have a glimpse at several art pieces while at the Rwanda Art Museum. You will learn about the history, traditions and culture of Rwanda through these paintings. You will then head to the hotel in Kigali for lunch.
After lunch, you will set off to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into a lodge, relax, shower and then have dinner. You will then retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and a canopy walk
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave the lodge and go for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking at the park headquarters. You will then be given an armed ranger guide to escort you after the briefing. Finding the chimpanzees will take you about 30 minutes to 4 hours. You will spend one hour with the chimpanzees after finding them. You will see them feed, play, and breastfeed, among others. You will then head back to the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will leave the lodge and go for a canopy walk at the suspended bridge. The canopy walk at the suspended bridge will be held for about 2 hours. You will spot many primates while at the bridge and also gaze at the Nyungwe forest from the top. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Guided Nature Walk and depart to Kigali Airport
You will have an early morning breakfast, and you will leave the lodge and head to the forest for a guided nature walk. You will be escorted by an armed ranger guide to lead you through various trails. You will have the chance to spot many birds, primates and many more. The guide will lead you back to the lodge after the nature walk. You will have some rest at the lodge, and later you will be given lunch.
After having lunch, you will leave the lodge with your luggage. The guide will drive you to Kigali Airport. You will be left at the airport to wait for your flight, and that will mark the end of the 3 Days Nyungwe Chimp Trekking Safari.
