7 days The Uganda Wildlife Safari takes you to the most visited national parks, such as Kibale National Park, where you will get to encounter the chimpanzees; Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will spend time with the mountain gorillas; and Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and boat cruises at the Kazinga Channel.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park
Depending on your location, the safari guide will pick you up and brief you about the Uganda safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Kibale Forest National Park, a journey which takes 5 to 6 hours’ drive with lunch en route. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking And Bigodi Swamp Walk
After an early morning breakfast, you will head to Kanyachu Park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be allocated a chimpanzee family to trek with, which will be grouped into 6 individuals. After, you will enter the forest in search of the chimpanzees. The chimpanzee trek takes 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are located, and once they are located, you will spend an hour with them as you watch them carry out their day-to-day activities, as you take photos and record moments. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a swamp walk in Bigodi Sanctuary, where you will spot several bird species, such as the yellow-billed barbet, black-crowned waxbill, great blue turaco, black bishop and grey-winged robin-chat, among others; mammals, such as bush pigs, bushbucks and otters; and primates, such as vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys, among others. After the nature walk, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The national park is the second-largest national park in Uganda. On arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch, and after lunch, you will relax, and later in the evening, you will go for the evening game drive where you will spot animals such as waterbucks, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks and elephants as they go back to their resting areas.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive And Afternoon Boat Cruise
After morning breakfast, you will head to the park for a morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains. During the game drive, you will spot animals such as buffalo, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda kob and elephants grazing in the open savannah plains; predators such as lions and hyenas as they are looking for their morning hunt; and bird species, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will have an amazing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the boat cruise, which takes 2 to 3 hours, you will be able to spot animals such as hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water; elephants, warthogs, waterbucks and buffaloes along the shores; and water birds such as cormorants, hornbills, fish eagles and kingfishers, among others. After the boat ride, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After enjoying morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a stopover in the Ishasha sector for a game drive, where you will see the tree-climbing lions lying lazily in acacia trees.
After the game drive, you will have lunch and then proceed with the journey to Bwindi Park Safaris. On arrival, you will check into the lodge, freshen up, have dinner and stay the night.
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and grouped into 8 members. After, you will enter the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The trek takes 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the location of the Uganda gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend an hour with the Ugandan gorillas as you learn more about their behaviours, as you take photos and record moments.
After the trek, you will return to the park headquarters, where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in the trek, and then later return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer Back To Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala. You will have lunch en route in Mbarara town and later have another stopover at the equator in Kayabwe, where you will take photos as well as buy souvenirs.
After, you will proceed to Kampala, and on arrival, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport or any place of convenience.
