Detailed itinerary
Day 1 : Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You will have a tour to Kigali genocide memorial on day one after the guide pick you from the airport. You will go through the events of the 1994 genocide while at Kigali genocide memorial. A guide will then take you to a hotel in Kigali for lunch and you will after head for your 2 hours drive to Volcanoes national park where you will reach and check into a lodge for your night stay and you will have your supper from there.

Day 2 : Gorilla trekking
At the lodge, you will have breakfast and a guide will take you to the park offices to get guidance on how to conduct a gorilla trek. You will head to the forest with an armed ranger guide and you walk through the trails at get to the gorillas. This trek may take you about 5 hours or even more depending on the location of the gorillas. You will spend an hour with then and return to the lodge. At the lodge, you will spend the rest of the day resting and you will be availed with both lunch and supper.
Day 3 : Hike to Mount Bisoke
You engage in a 6 hours hike to Mount Bisoke in day 3 and you will begin with breakfast at the lodge before you set off to the park offices fir briefing. After the briefing, you will have your hike with the guide to the summit take will take about 4 hours depending on your level of fitness and you will take 2 hours to return to the starting point. This hike takes approximately 6 hours. You will return to the lodge after the hike and you will have lunch. You will head to your room and you relax from their till dinner time.
Day 4 : Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
You will have a golden monkey trek on day 4 of the safari and after you will be transferred to Nyungwe National Park. On your golden monkey trek you will meet the golden monkey in their natural habitat and spend an hour with them. You will have to associate with these primates and after take pictures of them. A guide will transfer you to the lodge afterwards and you have lunch. After lunch you will head to Nyungwe National Park.

Day 5 : Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
On day 5 after breakfast, you will carry out a chimpanzee trek and you will be taken by a ranger guide into the forest to see these primates that will take an hour visit when you meet with them after several hours in trying to find them. You will have lunch before you get to a canopy walk in the after to the bride that is 70 meters high and 160 meters in length. It will take you about to hours to complete this activity where you will see a number of attractions plus the view of the Nyungwe forest from the bridge. You will return to the lodge and sleep after supper.
Day 6 : Transfer to lake kivu for a boat cruise
On day 6, you will have breakfast and you will be transferred to the park headquarters after checking out and you will set off to lake kivu. At lake kivu, you will head for a boat ride where you will have a glance at the beautiful surroundings of this lake and the wildlife that stays there and the islands in the lake. After your visit, you get a hotel and have lunch and after check in and spend the night there as you wait for the next item on the next day.
Day 7 : Coffee tour and transfer to Akagera National Park
At the hotel in kivu, you will have breakfast before you head fir a coffee tour to nyamirundi Island. You will get a boat a boat at Gisenyi that will transfer you to the Island for a coffee tour and you will get to know the process of coffee making from the locals at this island. You will go for lunch at a hotel after the coffee tour and you will check out and head to Akagera National Park

Day 8 : Morning game and a nature walk
You will have an early morning breakfast and you head for a brief guide at the park offices before you start off with a game drive that will expose you to the diverse eco systems in the park and the wildlife. You will after head to the lodge for lunch afterwards you will have a nature walk around the park in the afternoon.
Day 9 : Boat cruise at lake Ihema
While at the lodge, you will wake up to ab early morning breakfast and you will spend most of the time relaxing. In the afternoon you will have your lunch meal and after you will be transferred by a guide to the park offices fir briefing and after you will be given a guide who will accompany you for a boat ride. At lake Ihema, you will meet various birds and a guide will give details about them plus the animals that reside at this lake. After the boat ride, you will retire to your lodge for supper and you rest.
Day 10 : Visit to Iby’iwacu cultural center and transfer to Kigali airport
In the morning at 8:00am, you will have breakfast and you will leave the lodge with your luggage and a you will meet the guide who will transfer you to Iby’iwacu cultural center. At this location, you will meet the Rwandese people who will guide you around and tell you the cultural history if Rwanda that is attached to this place. You will get to know how the Rwandese behave culture wise and you will get to know this people dance because they will entertain you with their traditional dance. You will be taken to a hotel to have lunch and after the meal, a guide will transfer you to Kigali airport.
