Detailed Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Selous Game Reserve, Boat Cruise
Upon arrival, the Tanzania safari guide shall pick you up, brief you about the safari and transfer you to Selous Game Reserve. You will arrive by midday, and on arrival and after lunch, you will go for a boat ride on the Rufiji River. Crocodiles and hippos can be seen here as well, as they converge to quench their thirst. Crocodiles take advantage to hunt their prey, and you might be treated to sights of animal action if you’re lucky.

Day 2: Game Drive in Selous, Walking Safari Experience
Head out early for an early morning game drive for a chance to see those nocturnal animals as they return from their nightly hunt. Return to the lodge thereafter, enjoy breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge as you wait for lunch.
Later in the late afternoon hours, you shall enjoy a guided walking safari through the plains of the park for an opportunity to come up close with nature and wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above.
Day 3: Transfer to Ruaha, Relax at the lodge
After breakfast at the camp, drive with the lunchbox to Ruaha National Park, where we would enjoy it over a picnic. Once at the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Ruaha River Lodge.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Ruaha
Full-day game drive with a lunchbox enjoyed over a picnic in the park. Overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Dar es Salaam, Fly to Dar es Salaam
Wake to an early breakfast at the lodge and proceed on a transfer to Dar es Salaam, arriving in time for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, you shall be picked up and transferred to your hotel of stay. Check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Golden Tulip Zanzibar Resort.
Day 6: Day at leisure
Wake up at leisure, and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure at the hotel, take a swim, tour the hotel or simply read a book whilst enjoying amazing views of the Indian Ocean. Reminisce about your just-concluded safari experience in mainland Tanzania.

Day 7: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
You will also take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island or Prison Island, where you will enjoy seeing the giant tortoises, and during your tour of the island, you will also enjoy snorkelling.
You will take a boat back from Changuu Island to Stone Town. On this day, you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations, where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 8: Safari blue experience
You will enjoy the best boat tour on the island, which is a truly amazing experience, sailing in the beautiful, traditional dhows. You will enjoy a boat ride; enjoy delicious buffets and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks, and snorkelling; and also visit Menai Bay. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Day at Leisure
You will have 2 days to relax at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar Island and enjoy views of the Indian Ocean at your resort of stay. Meals and overnight stay as above.
Day 10: Departure
Your breakfast will be served at your hotel in Zanzibar as you prepare for your drive to the airport, which will bring your safari to an end.
