Detailed Itinerary Of The 8 Days Uganda Luxury Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked up from the hotel in Kampala by a representative from Chopper Tour and Travel. You will then embark on the journey to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping first at the Equator monument for pictures and then at the Igongo cultural centre for lunch. After, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will spend the night and also have dinner.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
You will have breakfast and head for a morning game after the briefing. You will be accompanied by a guide on the game drive, and during the drive, you will spot several animals and birds. After the drive, you will head back to the lodge, relax and have lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a briefing and then go for a boat cruise at Lake Mburo, where you will sight numerous birds and animal species, plus the vegetation around the lake. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and sleep.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have breakfast and check out of the lodge at Lake Mburo National Park. You will then set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with an en route lunch. When you arrive at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will check into a lodge, have dinner, and retire to bed.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
You will have breakfast, head to the headquarters for a briefing, and then head to the forest with an armed ranger guide for a gorilla trek. The gorilla trek, depending on the gorilla location, may take about 1 to 7 hours. You will spend one hour with the gorillas and then return to the lodge for lunch.
In the evening, you will go for a briefing and then head to the Batwa community for a Batwa cultural experience. You will meet the Batwa locals, who will show you their culture, and then you will have dinner at the lodge. After the meal, you will retire to bed

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will have breakfast and then check out of the lodge. The guide will then drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stopover at a hotel for lunch. You will proceed to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will have dinner and spend the night

Day 6: Morning game drive and a boat cruise at Kazinga channel
You will have breakfast and then go for a morning game drive after the briefing. During the morning game drive, you will see numerous birds and animals because this is when they are most active. You will see animals like lions, leopards, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, and bush pigs, among others. You will then head back to the lodge to refresh yourself before having lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel at around 2 pm. You will spot aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos, plus other animals on the shore like buffalo, elephants, and many more. You will then return to the lodge, where you will have dinner and sleep.

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking and a nature walk
You will have breakfast and go for a briefing. After the briefing, you will go for a chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge. You will spend an hour with the chimpanzees when you spot them. The time it takes to spot the chimpanzees may range from about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on their location. You will then head back to the lodge after an hour of sharing moments with the chimpanzees. You will have lunch and relax.
In the last afternoon, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing and then go for a nature walk with a guide who will be armed. You will spot numerous bird, animal, plant, and tree species. After the nature walk on a Uganda safari, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
